The Focus Non Combustible Smooth Deep Beam combines the clean, contemporary appearance of a natural timber beam with the practical benefits of a non-combustible mineral composite construction. Part of the Ecostove Smooth range, it features a simple, refined profile with subtle timber grain detailing, making it an ideal finishing touch for modern stove installations, fireplace chambers and inglenook designs.

Manufactured from a high-density mineral composite, the Smooth Deep Beam is designed to withstand extreme exposure to heat and flames without igniting. This non-combustible construction allows beams to be positioned closer to a stove than traditional timber products, subject to the required installation clearances and the manufacturer’s instructions.

The Smooth Deep Beam is moulded from timber to recreate the natural qualities of real wood while offering a more uniform and contemporary appearance than the character range. Each beam is hand-painted using a water-based paint system, with five natural finishes available: Pale Oak, Mid Oak, Dark Oak, Weathered Oak and Honey Oak. As each beam is cast from an individual timber beam, natural variations in grain and detailing will differ between products.

With its substantial 140mm x 140mm profile, the Smooth Deep Beam creates a strong architectural feature above a stove without the heavily distressed appearance of a traditional reclaimed timber beam. It is available in four lengths, from 42″ through to 54″, making it suitable for a range of fireplace widths.

Easy-Fix Installation System

The Easy-Fix bracket system is included as standard, providing a secure and practical way to install the beam. The substantial brackets are supplied with plugs and screws and are designed to simplify the fitting of heavier beams.

Once the bracket has been securely fitted to the wall, the beam is secured from underneath using an Allen key. The system also allows the beam to be removed when required, which can be particularly useful when redecorating.
