The Ecostove Non Combustible Smooth Standard Fascia Beam combines the natural appearance of timber with a clean, contemporary finish and the practical benefits of non-combustible  construction. With its slimmer 70mm projection, this fascia beam is ideal for creating an attractive fireplace feature where a deeper traditional beam would be too prominent.

Part of the Ecostove Smooth range, the beam features straight edges and subtle fine grain markings that recreate the appearance of natural timber without the heavily distressed character of a reclaimed oak beam. It is particularly well suited to modern stove chambers, inglenook fireplaces and contemporary fireplace installations.

The beam is manufactured from a high-density mineral composite material that can withstand extreme exposure to heat and flames and will not ignite. This non-combustible construction allows beams to be positioned closer to a stove than traditional timber products, subject to the manufacturer’s recommended clearances and the installation requirements of the stove.

Ecostove products are moulded from timber to reproduce realistic natural detailing before being hand-painted using a water-based paint system. The Smooth Standard Fascia Beam is available in Pale Oak, Mid Oak, Dark Oak, Weathered Oak and Honey Oak, giving you a choice of finishes to complement both traditional and contemporary interiors.

Easy-Fix Installation System

The Easy-Fix bracket system is included as standard, providing a secure and practical method of mounting the beam to the wall. The substantial brackets are supplied with plugs and screws and are designed to simplify the installation of beams.

Once the bracket has been securely fitted, the beam is fixed from underneath using an Allen key. The Easy-Fix system also allows the beam to be removed more easily when required, making redecoration and future maintenance more straightforward.

The Smooth Standard Fascia Beam is currently available in 48″ (1220mm) only, with a 70mm projection and 140mm height. The Smooth range offers five wood-effect colour options.

Ecostove specifies minimum clearances for its non-combustible beams of 250mm above a 5kW stove and 350mm above a 7kW stove. The appliance manufacturer’s installation instructions and any applicable installation requirements should always be followed.
