However, for homeowners with standard-sized rooms who prefer the aesthetic of a larger stove without excessive heat, optional Reducer Bricks can be fitted inside the fire chamber. These reduce the heat output to a more manageable 5kW, making it an ideal choice for a range of interiors.

This freestanding stove has a standard leg but can be customised with additional high legs (300mm) or low legs (150mm), allowing for three different height options to suit various room styles. With the higher leg options offering a practical log storage area, adding both functionality and visual appeal. There is also an optional dedicated log store model available.

The Portway P2 Contemporary is capable of burning logs up to 410mm (16 inches) and is fully DEFRA-approved, making it suitable for use in smoke control areas.
