Schiedel 5″ (125mm) Internal Diameter ICID Plus Ventilated Support Plate 1PC G50
G50 ventilated firestop plates and G50 ventilated support plates are used when a reduction from the standard 60mm to 50mm clearance to combustibles (CTC) is required within the floor space and within the shaft/enclosure/boxing in.
In a ventilated shaft using G50 or G60 round ventilated fire stops 50mm CTC is considered satisfied as long as a G50 ventilated support plate at base and a G50 ventilated fire stop plate at top of shaft is used in combination.
As with the standard G60 components there is no need to line the area within the floor cavity with plasterboard when these products are used.
12m Load Bearing
Twin wall flue system with advanced corrosion resistant design and construction using laser welded 316L stainless steel inner liner and a stainless steel case. Insulated with 25mm of high density rockwool maintaining flue gas temperature to maximise efficiency.
Components are jointed with a twist lock bayonet jointing system and secured by a locking band. The addition of a rubber joint seal facilitates the product for use on condensing and biomass appliances.
Twin wall insulated chimney system designed specifically for use on open or closed stoves with continuous operating temperatures of up to 450°C. The outer case is load bearing leaving the inner liner free to expand independently accommodating thermal expansion within each and every joint of the system.
